Continuing Medical Education and Professional Developing Programs in Sudan have been approved in an attempt to measure up and to improve the level of health services provided by:
Ensuring that the medical practitioners and health care personal are continuously updated in relation to their perspective fields; ascertaining that their performance is of the highest levels; and verifying that they maintain that level of performance.
The Commission has obligated medical practitioners to have the minimum hours of the CPD training as part of their professional responsibilities and as a requirement for obtaining their medical license (in the near future). This program is the only means through which they can acquire and update their knowledge, furthering their education, and improve the technical skills they have acquired. All of which would ensure that a distinctive care is being offered for the Individual and community.
