Term of Reference for each Department

Affairs states:


Purpose:  


Develop a strategic plan for the establishment of centers for the continuous development at state level, and then strengthen the capacity of state centers and technically support it.


Responsibilities:


Develop a strategic plan for the establishment of centers for continuing professional development at state level.


 Strengthening the capacity of state centers (infrastructure, human resources).

 Help States to implement plans for continuous training.

 Supervision of the state professional development centers and follow-up and evaluation of their performance.


Accountability and Authority:


The department will report to the general manager of CPDD


Planning and policy:


Purpose:


Develop the continuous development policy and strategic plans of the directorate, and then follow up the implementation and evaluating performance.


Responsibilities:


Develop the CPDD policy in accordance with standards applicable in the Federal Ministry of Health.


Developing the strategic plan for the CPDD of consistent with the strategic plan of the Federal Ministry of Health.


Develop the annual plan of work of the continuing professional development directorate.


Follow-up to the performance of CPDD’s units and departments on a regular basis and prepare special reports to do so.


Reporting monthly and quarterly and annual to General directorate of human resources for health.


Accountability and Authority:


The department will report to the general manager of CPDD, Assistant- undersecretary for HRH, and Undersecretary.
